Welcome to TwinBays.org, the online home of the Twin Bays Skating Club of Traverse City, Michigan! Twin Bays skating Club was established in 1975. It is a volunteer run club with 5013C status. The Club offers a wide range of skating options beginning with "Snowplow Sam" or "Pre-Hockey" for ages 3 and up and continuing through more advanced areas such as freestyle, moves, and ice dance. The Club also has 4 synchronized skating teams for youth, teens, juniors, and adults.

Adult Skating

Adult figure skating lessons are available through the TBSC Basic Skills/Learn to Skate program. Once you have the basics down (forward and backward skating, basic turns), consider joining the Adult Synchronized Skating Team. Mission Statement:
  The purpose of the club is: to provide instruction, practice, and advancement of the members in free skating, pair skating, dancing, and all types of figure skating; to encourage and cultivate a spirit of fraternal feeling among ice skaters; to sponsor, to produce or cooperate in the production of amateur ice carnivals, exhibitions, competitions, and shows; and, generally to do and perform such other acts as may be necessary, adviseable, proper, or incidental in the realization of the objectives and purposes of this organization; and to carry out the general policies of the United States Figure Skating Association.
